Resonance uses the distinctive sound of the steel drums to draw audiences into our compelling mix of Caribbean jazz and global fusion music. Trained in the steel band of pan master Ellie Mannette, members of the ensemble have performed and studied on five continents and with such prestigious ensembles as the Pittsburgh Symphony, Umoja African Arts Ensemble, and the River City Brass Band. Our dynamic performances offer listeners the sounds of traditional Caribbean and original fusion music to moments of potent world drumming.
